Audience: Any person wishing to obtain CPR Certification from the American Heart Association including healthcare workers. The class covers BLS (Basic Life Support) for adults, children, and infants. 

Topics Covered: High-quality CPR for adults, children, & infants, the AHA chain of survival, important early use of the AED, ventilations using a barrier device (postponed due to COVID), importance of teams, relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) in adults and infants. Follows American Heart Association 2020 Guidelines.

Location: The following class dates are at Health Street; located at 10710 Telge Rd.  Houston, Texas  77095. Please note that this is NOT an online class.  

This is an American Heart Association class, and students will receive two years "same-day" certification upon successful completion.
